ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS FOR SCHENGEN VISA OF THE CONSULATE OF HUNGARY IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION FOR PERSONS WHO NOT THE CITIZENS OF RUSSIA
 
For citizens of the CIS countries permanently residing on the territory of the Russian Federation without visa - one of the following (sets) of valid documents:
  • residence permit - copy (issued by the Federal Migration Service / FMS / in the form of a separate book like the passport);
  • temporary residence permit (issued by the FMS in the form of a stamp in the passport);
  • temporary registration valid for another 3 months after return from the Schengen area; 
  • patent (if applicable).
 
For citizens of all other countries permanently residing on the territory of the Russian Federation - one of the following (sets) of valid documents:
  • residence permit - copy (issued by the Federal Migration Service / FMS / in the form of a separate book like the passport);
  • temporary residence permit (issued by the FMS in the form of a stamp in the passport);
  • temporary registration valid for another 3 months after return from the Schengen area;
  • visa to the Russian Federation, corresponding to the purpose of stay, valid for another 3 months after return from the Schengen area;
  • patent (if applicable).
 
Departures from the abovementioned requirements are allowed only after consultation with the Hungarian Consulate.
 

Third countries whose nationals or specific categories of such third country nationals who are subject to prior consultation.

Under Article 22 of the Visa Code, a Member State may require the central authorities of other Member States to consult its central authorities during the examination of visa applications lodged by nationals of specific third countries or specific categories of such nationals.

Such consultation does not apply to applications for airport transit visas.

The table below lists the third countries and the specific categories concerned. When a third country is listed it means that at least one Member State requires such prior consultation.

Time for consideration – from 14 to 30 calendar days since getting to the Embassy.
